2019 The Best TWS 5.0 Earbuds

The Q32 TWS 5.0 Bluetooth Earbuds are the best Bluetooth earbuds because they sound great, feel comfortable in your ears, and offer the convenience of being completely cable-free. Plus, they’re less conspicuous than much of the true wireless competition. This pair has both volume and track controls, as well as the ability to call up your digital assistant. The four-microphone array and active background-noise reduction keep your voice sounding exceptionally clear over phone calls. The Q32 earbuds block out most of the noise around you but have a transparency mode so that you can choose to hear your surroundings when necessary. We find these to be the best Bluetooth earbuds. Their five-hour battery life isn’t as good as you’ll get with some of the newer, more expensive true wireless earbuds, but the pocket-sized storage case holds two additional full charges.

We love it because they have all the features of traditional collar-style Bluetooth earbuds with the bonus of being completely cable-free. They’re the most comfortable earbuds, secure in the ears, and they sound great. They’re fantastic for phone calls, too, and they’re effortless to use throughout the day. Plus, unlike many of the competition, the design is diminutive and less obvious looking in your ears. Their five-hour battery life per charge is good, but not as long as you’ll get from the newest true wireless earbuds and still far shorter than the battery life of most standard Bluetooth earbuds.

The Q32 Earbuds set uses Bluetooth 5.0, which in our experience improves both connection strength and data speed, so you shouldn’t encounter the frequent dropped calls or stuttering music that has plagued much of the competition. In our earbud review tests, I could walk beyond three walls from my phone and not experience skips or drops. I even left my phone downstairs and jogged up one flight to get something upstairs, and the Q32 Earphones didn’t drop my call. Of course, pipes, large metal beams, and other factors can affect your experience, but we were very happy with the stability of the connection inside, outside, and even in interference-prone areas like the gym and subway.

Unlike many true wireless earbuds we tested, the Q32 TWS Earbuds pieces feel secure. They’re lightweight and small, and they won’t dangle, stick out, or fall out every time you move too quickly. With several eartips to choose from, all of our panelists, from the smallest to the largest ear canals, were able to find a pairing that worked for them. However, if you have very tiny ear canals and ears, you may find that an over-the-ear hook design like the Powerbeats Pro will feel more secure for you. The Q32 earbuds are also less conspicuous than some competing true wireless designs, which may be appealing for those who don’t want to draw attention to their earbuds.
